The field of Psychology has seen the many remarkable theoretician and practitioners. Carl Jung developed the theory on personality types. Meyers Briggs expanded those theories into an assessment known as the he Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). MBTI consists of four dichotomies that include Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuitive, Thinking/Feeling, and Judgment/Perception. These dichotomies are said to provide an understanding into the emotional and intellectual†¦show more content†¦When defining leadership and personal ethics standards the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) can be used to gain such insight. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) consists of four dichotomies: Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuitive, Thinking/Feeling, and Judgment/Perception. Each person has tendencies on both ends of these dichotomies; however there is an expressed preference (as revealed by the MBTI) for one end of each of the four dichotomies. Although we all have aspects of both introversion and extraversion, each of us has a general preference for, or leaning toward, one or the other. (Till, Zdravkovic, Morrison, 2007). MBTI Type I can use MBTI evaluation to understand how I connect with my emotional and physical world. I have completed the MBTI and the assessment reveals me to be an Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving (ENFP). As and ENFP I have the following results: †¢ Have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (25%). †¢ Have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (59%). †¢ Have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (22%). †¢ Have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (%) 6.
